A new initiative, National Linguistics Day, happens on 26th November.

It is designed to be a focal point in the year to get language enthusiasts of all backgrounds thinking, talking and learning about the science of language. There is more information at Linguistics HQ, where anyone involved in secondary MFL teaching can also request free linguistics worksheets in French, Spanish and German, together with suggestions for activities or discussions.
