The NALA Executive committee has been busy this summer working on new ways of bringing together the NALA membership and adding extra value to your association membership.
As a result of our discussions, we are excited to announce the launch of a new initiative: NALA Lounge.
The first NALA Lounge pilot session will be held online on 20th November, from 18.00-19.00. This forum will provide a unique networking opportunity for the exchange of ideas, information, contacts and professional discussion, and is for NALA members only. In addition, each Lounge session will address topical issues from the language teaching and learning world. Members will be invited to submit their questions and/or topics for discussion in advance of each meeting.
Our first 2 professional discussion points will be:
1 – As the ‘national conversation’ begins on curriculum and assessment, what changes do NALA members think should be made to improve language education for all? What do we agree on?
2 – Languages Education Policy – what aspects should NALA seek to influence?
We would love to hear your views.
Please register for the NALA Lounge by emailing Bev Whiteside directly.
