1. Spanish workshops at Vicente Cañada Blanch School in London
Registration is now open for the SPANISH WORKSHOPS IN LONDON on the 29th June 2024, organised by the Consejería de Educación and Junta de Castilla y León.
REGISTRATION is now open, follow these steps:
1. Complete this form with your personal information and your preference of workshops.
2. Make the payment of £55 (includes lunch). The bank details are on the form.
3. Send the completed form and copy of the payment receipt to info.uk@educacion.gob.es Please indicate the name of the attendee clearly if payment is made from a school account or the person making the deposit is a different person.
The places in each workshop will be assigned in order of entry. Full program including the description of the workshops.
The day will open with a plenary conference by Judith Rifeser and will continue with a wide range of practical workshops on different aspects related to the teaching of Spanish. For each time slot, attendees will be able to choose between a wide range of workshops aimed at primary, secondary or general interest topics.
The day will be complemented by other attractive aspects related to culture in Spanish: an amazing gastronomic proposal for lunch as well as cultural workshops to wrap up the day: theatre and «sevillanas» dancing.

2. Spanish Day for teachers in Glasgow – Sat, 8th June (face-to-face training)
The Spanish Embassy Education Office, the University of Strathclyde, and the Junta de Castilla y León are organizing a Spanish day in Glasgow aimed at teachers of Spanish and future teachers from primary, secondary, university, and further education.
There will be presentations and workshops with practical ideas for the Spanish class. A Spanish lunch will be served.
Registration is free, but places are limited (on a first come, first served basis).

3. On-line Conference: the «Camino de Santiago» in the Spanish classroom
The International Courses of the University of Santiago de Compostela, in collaboration with the Consejería, are organising a free online conference on the Camino de Santiago and its practical applications for the Spanish language classroom. It will take place on Saturday 22 June, from 10:00 to 12:00. At the end of the conference, two scholarships covering course, accommodation and meals will be raffled to follow the course “Music, image and words in the ELE classroom” in July 2024 in Santiago de Compostela.
